And while beauty is in the eye of the key holder, i think it looks several metric tons better than the Model 3 or Y.

Personally not a fan of the way it looks but the dual screen setup is better than what you get in a Model 3 or Y and maybe better than what you get in an S or X. For the same price as a Model 3 LR it has similar performance but misses out on the technology, the key thing for me when getting mine.

Looking forward to seeing them on the road though.

Ironic that Tesla is the one providing 1980's Volvo paint jobs

It may look good, but I still have a problem with the name. Putting a 2 on it made it worse. Like it is a porn sequel about a stripper...

I like the car, but I wish the stance was a bit lower.

I'm impressed how dry the presenter was in the video.

Jonny has a funny style, it comes across like he's permanently sceptical. Even when he's excited about something.

Guessing the batteries have to go somewhere?
Yeah you risk the floor being too high otherwise, the rear floor will already be higher than usual like the Model 3.

But the batteries are in what would normally be the transmission hump and the space for the fuel tank under the back seat. You can see the sta CE of the car is more like a CUV and it could easily have been made lower.

It looks absolutely shit from the side. Please Volvo, make a wagon version to rectify that. And have a wagon.

It's a problem with the S90 as well. They put all their design effort into the wagon and gave the sedan to an intern in the 9th grade to finish on a friday afternoon. The end result was something that looks like a 1992 Ford Scorpio.

I always liked the Scorpio, even the frogeye. But it's not the 1990's anymore.
