Early look: Porsche Boxster RS 60

November27

Porsche has released images of its Boxster RS 60 Spyder ahead of the car's December reveal at the Bologna Motor Show in Italy. Inspired by the Porsche Type 718 RS that won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1960, the limited edition Boxster S will be painted in GT Silver Metallic and feature a Carrera Red interior ? although Dark Grey leather is available.

In addition to special badging, the Boxster RS 60 also wears a unique front spoiler and 19-inch Porsche SportDesign wheels. The Boxsters suspension has also been tweaked ? now featuring Porsche's Active Suspension Management system ? and a sports exhaust raises the flat six's output to 303 horsepower.

Porsche will limit RS 60 production to just 1,600 units. The special-edition Boxster will be available beginning in March in the UK and Ireland with a starting price of ?45,400.

Nope you're wrong; the WHOLE interior looks pink:blink:

It's probably the pictures, I mean I'd hope...

The exhaust pipes still looks like an asshole.

Some people are into that type of thing.

So are there any performance upgrades for this thing. I skimmed the article and really didn't see anything.

Wow, a limited edition . If I ever see one of these anywhere, i'm not exactly going to know right away. I still think that the Boxster looks stupid.

So...you're paying the equivalent of about $11,000 US for an exhaust, badges, and wheels designed by the same group that sells an unreliable electric kettle for $150?

Thank you, finally someone see's sense. A ~$11,000 Premium for nothing. <_<

I rather sack up and spend the 40K extra for a RUF 3.8s X51 engine conversion.

Also Richard Simmons called...yeah...he wants his interior back.

hmm... if someone gave one to me i wouldn't refuse it...but buy one with my own money....
