Portal 2 [Contains spoilers, you've been warned!]

I don't get it, why do you need PSN to activate the PC version of Portal 2?
 
PS3 version comes with a PC key as well, but they're linked together, requiring authentication via PSN.
 
Oh man! That must suck, you think you have the perfect workaround to the PSN being down and you can't even use it for the very same reason.
 
On Playstation 3:

1.First of all please make sure you have a PSN account
2.When playing Portal 2, press the SELECT button, a STEAM INTERFACE will open
3.Follow the on screen instruction. Enter your STEAM user name and Password.
4.You will be successfully logged in, and now you can browse through your Achievements, Steam News, and your Friend List


On PC

1.Get the voucher code from your Portal 2 PS3 copy.
2.Then make sure that STEAM is downloaded in your PC.
3.Now navigate to Games menu, and then select Activate Product
4.Enter your voucher code

Unless they have changed something recently, the PC instructions just get you a message telling you to log onto steam from your PS3 first.
 
So its decided. I read through the first 10 or so pages of this thread. I must get this game.
 
They should make a defective turret version too.
