That looks like only a Type S to me...
Strange, I always thought you were a girl. Seriously. No idea why though...
Uh oh, hope i didnt disappoint you.
It is. One of three I have in tribute to the band that made the Album Of The Decade. Is that a Moonsorrow tee? One of my favourite bands right there...
As the others suspected... it is a Type S.HELLS TO THE YES. Driving to the Millau Viaduct in a Civic Type R...that's exactly what I want to do (once I learn how to drive manual that is).
Would you then start throwing up if I said the first thing I intended to do was put the Type R grille on it? I've always thought that looked better than the mono-brow headlights it has now.^ You made a good choice there IMO. The Type-R isn't the kind of car for me either. If I was buying a Civic, I want a Civic. If I was wanting a fast hatch, I'd get an S3. I'm not a big fan of hot hatches. And I actually prefer the looks of the Type-S anyway.
Here's an odd thought for you all. Should the European Civic be taken to the US, badged as an Acura, and sold alongside the rather toned-down Civic that is sold there, and which we only get as the shrub-hugging hybrid?
That would be nice, but I believe that Acura has moved on from small hatchbacks; the TSX is the smallest of the line.
The RSX was a joke compared to the Integra.
Civic is actually a re-badged CSX, CSX was designed in Canada for Acura and Honda liked it so much they made it the next Civic...at least that is what wiki says.
...which is still the toned-down North American version.Civic is actually a re-badged CSX, CSX was designed in Canada for Acura and Honda liked it so much they made it the next Civic...at least that is what wiki says.
Perhaps, I don't know which came first.
The CSX is full of epic fail to me anyway... nobody needs a $30,000 Civic.

[sarcasm]But it has an Acura badge so it must be better than a civic[/sarcasm]
I've told some people that they just bought an expensive civic and my god, I thought they were going to kill me.
^ Aaaah Wacken, how thee holdeth nice memories... Haven't been there in 5 years tho...

And, brace yourselves...
...are you all bracing yourselves?...
...diesel.
