Awesome that sounds great.

I know how you can shorten that two hour ferry ride too.

LOL, yeah. There are some 45 min seaplanes between Nanaimo and Vancouver, you are correct. Very convenient in the event of an emergency. Otherwise, though, you take the ferry, because you keep your car with you.

Got a 25% raise at work!
That is huge. Big congrats for that. You must be doing something (or someone!) right.

Got offered a fulltime, permanent position as head of the editorial department (that's basically the editor-in-chief's right hand man in charge of everyday operations) at the celebrity gossip website. While I don't know if I'll take it as the job has always been planned as a stopgap until I find real work, it's a huge compliment to my abilities as a journalist and a manager.

So you will be Berlin's Perez Hilton?

Good. Now you can come on the Roadtrip and to Ringmeet.

You need to get that plane because a company in Canada no less offers LS9 V8 Conversions for it.

Up to 700 Horsepower with the Supercharger kit and over 700 miles of range.

Crap. That I didn't know!

Hmm... methinks I'm going to have to try that specific seaplane just for fun! Good job.

First interview for the new job went super awesome today

2 more over the next two weeks, then hopefully move to Texas the beginning of June for training for 2-3 months, then back to Chicago. Everything might just fucking work out.

Also working ~30 hours of OT this week, so phat paycheck incoming. 7 days straight, 6 12 hour and 1 6 hour shifts.

Passed all my classes, and did really well on every exam. Now FSAE Michigan next week hope that's another achievement for the team as a whole.

Now if you could only bring the living expenses and cheap taxes from Texas back to Chicago....

That'd be nice. When (If, but I'm hopeful) I'm in Texas I really want to make it to some range classes and properly learn to shoot, since that doesn't really exist in downtown Chicago.

Hit up Spectre when you get to Texas. He'll take you shooting all kinds of shit.

Second interview was a success. (He said he thought I was a "very good fit" for the company and position)

One moar!
