Apart from... well... errrr... the fact that I haven't yet got around to re-enabling TRIM on my aftermarket SSD, it's been plain sailing on a late 2008 15" MBP. Mind you, I don't have any high demands apart from a little bit of Handbrake every now and then, so ymmv. As for the version, it's 10.10 Public Beta 6.

It's great that it runs good on a 2008 machine!

I really dig the new UI, it makes the old one look dated instantly when you go back to it.
