I had a hamster but he died a horrible death, can i still post his pics? mind you i had him for 2 days only.

This is Sherman, my Oscar (and a purple African Cichlid next to him that I haven't named yet). We've raised Sherman since he was a little over an inch and now he's getting quite large. The fish next to Sherman is about 3-4 inches long, so that gives you an idea of his size. And he has some growing yet to do: Oscars can get over a foot long in captivity.

He's very mellow and will eat out of your hand, and he loves to jump and grab the food above water, but sometimes he can hurt your finger with his jaws. When he gets hungry and I forget to feed him, he jumps up and taps the lid to remind me.

You can see some of his battle scars: the other fish like to keep him on his toes, but Sherman isn't very aggressive. He could swallow them if he wanted to :lol:

I didn't miss it, that's why I was worried :p Thought Ren had missed something when he posted it, till I saw his disclaimer underneath
