Haha I have a shitty Panasonic small tv on my room, Sendo P600 phone and DVD player in my laptop lol.

I read that Plasmascreens are F*cking expensive!

Normal tv is about ?30 per year
LCD tv is about ?45
And a Plasma tv is about ?110!!!!
 
My TV is pretty old, it's a late-1999 JVC 27", it has a really good picture but the speakers are really weak, only 1.5w per-channel.

Depending on what I feel like, I can either play DVD discs on the computer, or pop them in the PS2 if I'm lazy. It really is nicer to play DVDs on the computer because I have nice 200w Logitech speakers for it. :p

TV is a bit old as mentioned earlier, I think it was like $300 when it was new, and the computer cost me about $1500 to build plus the 17" monitor is about $150 and $140 for the speakers. :woot:

I always thought Plasma TVs were expensive but I recently took a look at the prices at sony and found LCD TVs to be more expensive
A 42" LCD HDTV is 4500K USD while the 42" plasma HDTV is 3500K

Right now I have almost nothing :D No laptop, a Nokia 6600, a pc wanting to be upgraded (but with 5.1 sound)
But I started preparing my list for when I relocate, off the top of my head there will be:
Canon Digital Rebel XT EOS-350D digital cam
A fine laptop
42" LCD HDTV
PS2 (with logitech force feedback steering wheel and GT4)
Home theatre system with divx playback and 5.1 (possibly more) sound
iPod Photo

Any more suggestions? :)

my system, well family, from the leftt top is a boardband tv box, the its a ACL DVD burner, then sony VCR (xpensive pos, so worthless now) NAD VCD play has 3 disc thingys (also worthless now) to the middle, cable box and middle speaker made by B&W. to the top right Song turn table, sadly its not a dj deck kind, then its a kenwood amp. the a onkyo cd player (also worthless) o and ps2 and 3 controllers. JBL white speakers. really powerful for size and free with ipod! worth 500HKD! for real!

Just because it's only a little bit more expensive and, the 30GB version is just $50 more than the ipod, and it has extra battery life + color screen + av out, so I guess it would be pointless to get the ipod...

dont have much assets over here, when you are studyin abroad for a few years you cant carry around that much stuff :?

Phone: Sony Ericsson T68i (too bad its probably gonna die soon, i really loved this phone)


Laptop: AMD Athlon XP 2500+, 512 ram, 60gb hdd, dvd burner...


My previous laptop had 20gb hdd, and that wasnt really enough, hence i got and external hdd case + 120gb maxtor in it, i keep the case open due to temperature reasons ;)


Sound: 5.1 Creative Inspire 5100 speaker set, 5x6W + 12W woofer, sound quality really good
My laptop has only regular soundcard, no capability for 5.1, therefor i have an external USB one


Headphones: wireless phillips (and some crappy regular ones)


Digital photocamera: Kodak CX 6330, 3.1mpixels

Thats pretty much it. Oh and some other computer related stuff like webcam, usb hub, car reader, PC card etc
 
i guess for u 30 bucks doesnt get u much in US. but in HK u can get alot stuff. btw n e one want ipod skins, please let me send it to u. its only 30-60HKD for one please dont play bloody 40-60USD for one

i have this kenwood hifi in my room as well.



the funny thing is, when u turn it off listenin to the cd, u have to start all over again when u turn it back on. dammit! and it doesnt play burnt cd's sometimes. if it does u can only skip songs on the 1st 5 tracks or it stops playing.

my maid uses to much cleaning stuff or rubs too hard and the print is gone on some of the button tops so i donno what they are sometimes.

the antenna sucks. but then the channels sucks in hk so who gives. listen to one news or music on radio in the morning. SUCKS COCK! the music sirusouly. they never play new stuff.

they have a philipino hour and their language is soooooo annoying. i dont listen to it but when i go pass it, pisses me off so bad![/img]

Well not really, the literally "coolest" you can get is liquid nitrogen and phase change coolers... And the cooling itself doesn't make any processor perform any better, it just allows more headroom for overclocking, which then make it a better peformer :)
