Post Your Watches

Cheap watches?

What?

Oh, honey.

I've worked on watches that cost more than a nice house in many parts of this country. When you're actually in to watches, $2000 is cheap.

It's also very expensive, it depends from which side of the budget line you're looking.

Wait a second, that's like a triple negative there... my post lunch mind is confused

Now all I need is a red beanie.

I have pretty small bones and wrists, so these do not look like I have a wall clock strapped on.

Those are so nice. Simple and practical.

Another change of plan, didn't wait for my birthday...

Just put an order for this:

My own pics to come when I receive it in a few weeks :D

It has arrived, and it's glorious (to me at least)!

Here are a few crappy unboxing pictures:

At first I was hesitating between the 44mm and 47mm version, but a friend of mine convinced me to go 44, and even got me a bit scared that even that would be too big.

But I am looking at it on my wrist right now, and it feels perfect size wise.

I will check the accuracy over the next few days.

Very nice.

Post a picture wearing it!

Those watches run on a quartz crystal, which is easier to make accurate (as all quartz vibrates at the same frequency when exposed to electricity). This is slightly more complex. :p

Exactly. My quartz Citizen drifts roughly 1s per month.

This being a mechanical watch, I'll be happy with <5s/day.
