Prediction:
Republicans acquiesce to climate change consensus. While there will be disent the majority of Republicans accept climate change and vote for a bill with several proactive measures.
California's 2035 all electric plan is adopted by the Dept of Transportation and states mirror pushing manufacturers to accelerate their model replacements with new electric drivetrains.
Commercial flying begins advertising their green efforts to stem proposals of reducing air travel without carbon offsets.
Antitrust - Amazon stikes a deal with the EU but splits off AWS ahead of US regulators. making Bezos emperor of a large chunk of the world and richer than all of it. ok bit hyperbole but...
Multiple divestments of companies who had been buying up competitors
Vaccine - vacations have never been so much fun with buying vaccine from foreign countries as the covid vaccine become the hot item to buy on the DL. Also counterfeits lots of fake vaccine all over from reputable sources being duped
Entertainment - Movies on streaming theatres begin the process of closing for good
News Networks - CNN goes HBO max and subscription only. FoxNews becomes considered the most mainstream news as more trumpy outlets go crazy and straight up give conjecture and speculation as truth.
China - In an attempt to make his third term less controversial Xi wins the Nobel prize with Biden after Xi pushes Korean reunification. Kim Jong Un is granted asylum and the communist party is folded into the South Korean party system gravely weakened. While it is hailed as a victory for capitalism the struggle to absorb 25 million causes strain on the South Koreans and US good will.
