Either try downloading the torrent using right clicking and "save target as" and then pointing your bt client to it (90% this should solve your prob) or check your destination folder (pretty sure it isn't this by the error).

If you are using ABC this is a common problem. There is a bug in the program to be fixed. Just do as togp said and you should be fine.

Btw if you are realling using ABC I recommend switching to BitComet. It has more features than ABC, and is stabler.

Innstalling BitComet ..

It just sounds like it can't find the torrent in the temp folder. Right-clicking and save target as'ing on it to your desktop and opening it from there should solve the issue.

Well I've tried to rightclick and save on my desktop AND in the tempfolder for the bit torrent program and that doesn't work either.

Anything else? Thx for the help guys :)

Save it to your desktop. Go into your client, select "add torrent (no default save)", pick the torrent and then were you want to save it to.

And are you sure that the default save directory exsists? I'm betting it doesn't - you deleted the folder, moved it, whatever.

Thx so much you guys, I really appreciate you helping a non-pc-dude like meslef ;)

Ok, so I opened my Bit Comet program, (I'd already 'saved as' on my desktop) opened torrent via the program from the file I'd dld to my desktop-and it popped up into the Bit Comet window.

Now it's up and running, so it should be ok.

Thx again guys, now hopefully I'll get my dose of TG :p
