Almost forgot - if you drive one of these SHOs, carry at least two good-sized fire extinguishers with one in the trunk and one in easy reach inside. They are prone to under-dash fires and if you have an extinguisher you might be able to save it when it goes.

Why not call the fire brigade? The logical grid system means they'll get there in time to save it.

That's assuming they're not off extinguishing someone else's SHO. :D

Also, bit hard to call the fire department when your cell phone is on fire (many Americans have a cell holder on the dashboard.)

My cell phone sits in the cup holder, which is in the center console.
