radeon 9800 Pro -> XT mod

I tried to do that mod, but it turned out not to work. When I rebooted and flashed the bios, everything went fine. But when my desktop loaded (640 res or so), it just went blank. (maybe the moment when the ATI tray icon loaded.

So i reflashed it to its normal self

my brother flashed his 9800 pro to an XT Bios: it worked great and he got more fps/3dMarks, but the card ran hotter with just the standard fan. He couldn't afford a better cooler, (he's a high school student which means cash is rare) so he flashed it back.

I bought a new cooler for the mod, and what used to be a 9800Pro is now a 9800XT at 445/380! I'm very satisfied with the results.
