I see restrictions coming, last rally I went had 3 accidents, and every other rally I went at least 2. 1/3 of the accidents had injured drivers of spectators.

It's not always the fault of the spectator, it's the condition of the road that changes, after 10cars have gone through a corner, there is tons of sand on it.
 
there rally i went to (in hulst) was grately organised, every spot you were allowed to watch the cars passing, was at least 3m higher than the road, no way anything could hit you...

...and we all saw them crashing from a safe distance :D
 
^I was thinking of going to Hulst but that was more than 3 hours driving, I think that's one of the nicest rallys here, apart from the Golden Tullip Rally, more hills I think.
 
Wow that is freaky...i guess if your a rally spectator, your always prone to these kinda things...sad :(

I feel mainly sorry for the bloke on top of the car he seems to have got the full grunt of the hit.

I'm sorry, but that's the way humans work - perhaps some prefer to hide from this fact, but let's face it, millions of newpapers sell everyday, and when do they sell best - straight after a catastrophe. FACT!
 
no, but the readers want to know exactly what happened, where it happened, how it happened, what's being done about it, etc.
 
Anybody who says they wouldn't like to see the video of a wreck is lying.
If a car accident occurs on a highway most of the traffic is generated by rubber-neckers glancing for a peak at the chaos. That's also why cheesy reality shows are such a hit.

Bullshit! Total Bullshit!

Not everybody on the highway wants to watch, it's a few dumb people who take pics to show it to the family. That's a horrible idea, how do you like it if you lied on the street with people around you looking at you like you're some kind of attraction. If someone was injured in a crash I don't really wanna watch it, you're watching how someone is getting hurt, how fun can that be?
