Trumpism is still less dangerous to legitimate residents and visitors than a certain potentially lethally defective bit of mandated Canadian medical IT. Also, less of the "have to chip ice out of underwear in September/October" in most places down south of the 45th parallel.

Try to avoid going there on a weekend, way too crowded.
Also, don't do just the Dragon, there are plenty of nice roads in the area (Devil's Triangle, Cherohala Skyway, etc...)
