Random Thoughts... [Entertainment Edition]

Damn, that whole sequence was not funny. The forced laughter at the uninspired jokes made it even more cringey.

Will Smith slapping Chris Rock has all the energy of a boomer dad getting into a fight with that uncle everyone has that thinks he's funny.

You just sit there why you're even watching it.

It's a shame the timing was off and this happened before his oscar win, that way Rock could've just gone "ACADEMY AWARD WINNER WILL SMITH, EVERYONE!" :p

Has anyone else watched the HALO series?

Angel Rosario, Jr. Has an unusually-shaped head. Distractingy so.

On IMDB.com, the reason given for the "R" rating for 1993's Alive:

Motion Picture Rating (MPAA)
  • Rated R for crash scenes too intense for unaccompanied children

OK, let's see...there's carrot for a drop-down list.

  • The plane crash results in various unpleasant scenes of gore.

Hmm, ok, I guess.

  • One man's leg is slit open, a steel rod goes through the stomach of another man.

OK, so about the same as the first one.

  • Limbs are shown in a state of decay from gangrene.

Gross, but it's not due to violence... I guess that still makes sense though.

  • The co-pilot's head is shown against the cockpit window, which is smeared with blood.

Well, I mean...that seems pretty minimal, and that alone could just be PG-13.

  • There are glimpses of people sawing hunks off dead bodies: both the dismemberment and consumption of dead bodies is lingered over by the camera.

You...you might have lead with that.

Just finished watching the anime 86, I liked it a lot, the music is awesome and the story is pretty good too. But it seems like the S2 ending should've been the end, but they changed it to make more due to the popularity.

Moldova should have won.

Although Zoe looks like she’s storing some snacks for later, Natalie looks pouty. Like she was just told “no” about something.

But both are pretty.
