I think you two need to read more history.
If you hold a mindset that defines people as groups rather than individuals take this horrific video as a warning of where your ideology may lead you.
That's the Obama legacy for ya - he is the great divider. The left generally likes groups, more so than the right (as in Dems and Reps) and it's all the more reason to go libertarian.If you hold a mindset that defines people as groups rather than individuals take this horrific video as a warning of where your ideology may lead you.

We literally register ourselves as part of one group (Democratic party) or the other (GOP) and then we argue over which party's candidates to elect to lead the country try. Quite different from the Obama divisions, namely by race and net worth.Highly ironic that you of all people try to answer argatoga's concern of bunching people into groups given the various times you've bunched everyone left-leaning into one group in the election thread.

Quick Question for future discussions - on what side does Obama stand concerning net worth? Does he stand with the rich elites or the unwashed masses? I've been getting mixed signals from the right side of the political spectrum during the run up to the election on that issue ... seemed like Obama was either a terrible socialist helping his poor working comrades - or a rich elitist out of touch with the common man. That was pretty confusing ... maybe you can clear this up for me, because from these two extremely different opinions I can only conclude that he's pretty much in the middle of that. But that cannot be right if he's such a divisive president ...[...] the Obama divisions, namely by race and net worth.

@Level,
A liberal wet dream is to get the wealthy to pay a fair share of taxes. A side effect of that would be a better infrastructure that benefits everyone.
Define "fair".@Level,

In this case fair would be at least the same percentage as someone making $100,000 a year. You know it is bad when one of the richest men on the planet talks about the percentage his secretary being higher than his is not right.
