There is SummerNats in the Summer (d'oh!) and roundabouts (great for testing over / under steer), plenty of back roads, and if it takes you more than 30 minutes to get anywhere, you're either doing it wrong, or are out for a proper drive.

Yes, the mentally unstable tend to be able to get their hands on really long and ultra sharp knives, and yes, the herion trial was cancelled so all those that moved to Canberra in anticipation of state-funded smack got a little pissed, but there are still lots of DVD players to steal.
