Hugs are quite goodly.

Under-rated I'd say.
I don't see the point of hugs, my lady friends used to always want them, and I never got the point of it.

I can see snuggling up, all good and romantic, but hugging...meh not into it if I'm not dating the person.

I had a coworker about a year and a half ago that would greet me when I walked into work by shouting "HUG!" and then running up to me and jumping on me to hug me.

Yeah, crap like that annoys me. I used to get it from a couple of people and frankly I don't miss it at all.

Yeah. She was rather clingy too. And a bit erm, promiscuous to be honest, another friend I worked with at the same time lost his virginity to her in the back of his jeep in an alley near her house after taking her home one rainy night. :?

I really do need a hug now!

My HDMI cable just shat itself halfway through a race in Forza.
Leaving me with the SD RCA cable which is blurrier than my eyesight.

As geeky as it sounds, I almost teared up (alcohol probably doesn't help emotionally lol).

What a fucking great start to the year.

I feel huggy who wants hugs.
I love hugs!

Must make copies of man card before they come to take it.

I miss that about someone I used to work with. Although, she never yelled anything, just ran up when I wasn't looking.

Also, on an unrelated note, does anyone else think that the fancier better looking books are more enjoyable/pleasurable to read?

For instance, I got a fancy edition of The Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide a while back, and it was just so much nicer to read than the regular edition I used to own before.

vs.

I really want to buy a this right now,

But at the moment, I can only afford this

Ideally, I'd like to but this set http://www.eastonpressbooks.com/leather/product.asp?code=0135
But this is also nice, http://www.paulfosterbooks.com/?page=shop/flypage&product_id=2166&CLSN_1838=1259401781183896fe8c70e1de7a43c8

Question on proper tipping here: I'm at a 24 hour restaurant with a friend, we've been here probably 3 hours (please note, there are perhaps 5-10 tables with people and 35 or so empty). We're frequently here, most of the wait staff know us. Anyway, there's a pretty new waitress serving us, and she hasn't bothered to take my plate away or refill my drink for the last 45 minutes or so.

I'm justified in reducing her tip quite a bit, yes? For reference, since we frequent here and use their internet and electricity, we always order enough food and drink to be reasonable (say $20-30 worth) and always tip in the 20-25% range.
Worth mentioning that you don't generally tip in Australia, so it's not that we're tight wads when we're tourists :p (well sometimes)
