I don't mind water actually, it's just a bit boring. I'll have the occasional ice tea or just a diet coke lately, but it's mostly just water now. I've all but completely cut out caffeine about 5 months ago. That was rough, but I hate the idea of feeling dependent on anything, which is why I never got into drugs or smoking or anything. Seems like a weakness to me. But yeah, it's all about moderation now, trying to keep my daily calorie intake below a certain level, even if that means having to skimp on things for dinner, to make up for anything excessive I had for lunch. Stuff like that. Seems to be working. In a couple months I should be just about where I want to be, in terms of weight, then I can ease up on the diet.I try to drink flavored sparkling water which has the same lack of everything but hydration water does instead of soda.

It's diet Powerade, essentially. Flavored water doesn't have much by way of electrolytes.Is that actually flavored water or like diet powerade?
Also powerade/gatorade etc are gross along with most juice flavored not juices.
I share your pain. My team can even be leading at the end of the third quarter by a significant amount, and as soon as I turn on the game, they end up losing.
