So I've just returned from a local pub. We visited a slightly further away (but closer to our mates' house) pub which was quiet, shit and the locals weren't great. This one (which we were attracted to as it has a massive sign on the side saying 'Your Friendly Local') was epicly better. We got 2 free shots of Sambuca (hey, its free and there was 9 of us) and got chatting with the locals and bar people. I think we've found our local... :D

Sadly around here the days of the local are long gone. Every pub is a now nightclub where your chances of having a quiet one are very slim. Thankfully one of the quietest pubs is also the one closest to my house. The fact it's a bit of a hidden gem is great too.
 
Just spent the past three hours with a crowd of often cute, sometimes hot Chinese girls hanging on my every word at a grad school alumni event. Didn't have the hots for a single one. Does that make me racist?
 
Don't know the name of the song but it goes like

"Hey baby hey baby hey... girls say". It was just playing in the gym. I can't lift to shit like that!

I've just figured out a new way to deal with telemarketers. I told some guy this morning to ring again at 2pm because I was busy.

About 5 minutes ago, the phone rang. I look at the clock before I answered it, it was 2:03. My face:

I once got one of my friends to answer my phone because 90% of people who phoned my flat were Indians offering to "fix" my PC. He kept them on the phone for about 20mins by confusing them after claiming he was running Android as an OP on a desktop machine... :lol:

My couch broke........how the fuck do you break a couch by just sitting in it?

I'm reorganising this house compleetly over the following years, including expanding the livingroom drasticly, so I can't get a new one right now as I would need a much bigger one in the foreseable future.

Speaking of iPhones, I've just bought one. A 4, not a 4S. Already installed Rage Faces, Tweetdeck, Instagram, made the iPhone whale meme, and synced all of my Angry Birds scores. Well on my way to completing the Mac fanboy hipster circle. Elliott Smith was a geeeniiiuuussss!!!

I managed to break a bed by sitting on it, when I left my flat the bed had three less slats under the mattress!

Most disappointing way to break a bed ever... :lol:

I dunno', I just sat on it and it broke. To be fair it was a cheap, shit bed that came with the flat and I think the previous occupants had pretty much knackered it already. Quite a few bits where held together with duct tape... :lol:

beds break for ridiculous reasons. i've heard lots of stories from friends as well where they would even just wake up and BY SLEEPING hat broken the damn things. never happened to me though... but that could be due to having rather expensive beds all my life :dunno:

Aside from being an excellent showcase of HTML5/WebGL technology, Black is also a fantastic song and is deserving of attention in its own right. I never knew that Danger Mouse, Daniele Luppi, Norah Jones and Jack White had collaborated but if I may say so myself, the results are nothing short of incredible.

Speaking of iPhones, I was at a Telstra store (phone carrier) earlier today and I tried to make Siri Google beastiality porn so that I could troll my friend who bought a 4S the day it came out. Unfortunately, it refused.
