Random Thoughts....

It could of been a simple drug interaction from prescription meds.

facepalm

like i said before, i usually do try to help them unless i know i'm ill equipped to do anything (ie with my 5 y/o nephew or something). but the times i have helped someone:

1) crackhead who grabbed me (i know what crack smells like) and tried to set me on fire with a lighter
2) guy started throwing rocks at me, someone else called the police and he got arrested (the cops told me he was a known angry drunk)
3) guy started shouting obscenities at me at the top of his voice, someone else called the police and i don't know what happened after
4) homeless guy so completely drunk he kept stumbling off the sidewalk into heavy traffic, so i called 911 and sent him to the hospital for the night
5) rape victim who was in terrible shock and had a bad concussion

yes, sometimes they really do honestly need a helping hand, but my point is you need to be careful for the safety of anyone in the vacinity as well your own. if you're not equipped for the possible consequences, get someone else who is then stay the fuck away.

But isn't always that blazing hot where you at this time of year?

I was hesitant to say it, but now it is official folks:

Audi's (specifically A4's) are driven by c**ks. Right down to their stupid Oakleys and watches with faces the size of dinner plates. I didn't want to stereotype, but after the commute home and encountering not one, but TWO of these jerks, it had to be said.

It's hotter than usual for early July...we usually get this type of weather for a few days here or there in later July and early August.. It's just hot sooner and more consistently.

Looks at desk and sees Oakley sunglasses and giant faced watch...:p

Even Clarkson's stereotypes have a basis in truth.

Pretty much all Audi drivers are like that here. Striped shirt, lots of hair product, squash racquet in the boot and always called Gavin. They attend brteakfast meetings and do lots of blue sky thinking.

EDIT And I mean newish Audis, company cars mainly. Please don't anyone assume that was a veiled pop at our favourite Audi driving Slovenian because it wasn't.

Post Your Weather thread, huh? Mkay.

<le graphs>

Typical Germans and their charts. :lmao:

Do you guys get weekly chi-squared results for the weather or something?

Today is the first day since June 28th that it is below 100?F (~38?C), so maybe this will be the beginning of a little relief from the oppressive heat... nope....spoke too soon. Blergh, I hate summer.

O_O O_O O_O

By Tuesday, I'll be inside the EU Parliament (as a 2-year-old unofficial conference delegate :p). Which politician should I assassinate? Post your suggestions in the reply box below.

That's actually a Danish chart. I like their predictions more.

For instance, you can turn on uncertainty data for various input parameters to their models.

The golden line is the median prediction, the dark blue is likely, the light blue is unlikely.

Oh look, 18000 lightning strikes in 24h a few days ago...

I'd venture that Weather Underground comes pretty damn close if your in the right view.

We'd just like some sun. It's been raining pretty much nonstop lately.

Back to the days of 65 to 75 degree days, please. Top up and AC on is no way for a convertible to spend the summer. Oh these first world problems.
