Tommy Two Shoes said:Couple of things about that video...it was obviously trying to prove Intel as the best but it was a particularly fair test. They used two very outdated AMD processors which I believe would have been made before any kind of safety features had been installed to save your CPU. The two Intel's although not perhaps completely up to date are still more advanced and newer than the AMD's. Did you also notice that the temperature sensor was held much closer to the AMD's which would surely increase the temperature reading significantly. There is no way that a Pentium 4 would only be 29 degrees C when you take the Heatsink off, thats just stupid, a CPU has a higher temp. under load even with watercooling...Hmmmm, just a couple of thoughts

The Palomino core is four freaking generations old now, and that was the "new" core at the time of that video. That's like showing a crash test of an E21 3-series to say how unsafe BMWs are. Nowadays, whether you have AMD or Intel, if you somehow get possesed and want to remove the heatsink (if you've ever had to put on one of those retaining clips, you know they won't just fall off), your CPU won't fry.Le Ren said:OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!
