Replays

^Yeah that's ESPN there...I bet that that's me he's bashing :p

That's not allowed in the race you know it right? So I can finally complete a lap

Watch the replay, I didn't actually hit him (aside from him falling on me). :?

Here's the replay of me finally braking the damn 1:39.XX barrier (Second Lap).
Any suggestions how I could improve my time ?

Lol sorry Andy I laughed my ass off the whole lap

Oke my advice.
Don't steer 100% left or right, that won't help, the best is to keep the steering minimal, because it slides easy you can have minimal steering with maximum effect.
Try it, go through a corner (no braking in the corner) just subtle steeringmovements.

When you are going a bit sideways don't react with 100% steeringlock, that will get you nowhere, try getting the wheel straight with just very little movements.

And lol, when you backed up out of the sand you hit it full throttle, be careful with that, too much red-line and you engine will be useless.

Try to keep the racingline, you are all around the track, when you stay on the line it's much easier to go through corners.

When you go through a corner always make sure you have a litle bit of steering in the oposite way when you come out of it, that will prevent you from spinning.

If it's not clear, watch my replay (Maybe ESPNSTI's too but he's using steeringwheel) and see how little my movements are.

Good luck practising!

Same here..I thought it would be inadequate to say so.
Now tell me how can I do these fabolous 1:37 laps, I'm begging you

You're the LFS mod around here..now do your job, watch my replay and give me some feedback :p

I think i should try to adjust the sensitivity of the mouse... I can't even go down the straight flat out  ... I knew someone would say they were laughing their asses off... my Gti times are pretty good though... abt 1:45

First corner: try to keep it in second gear, and turn in earlier.
3rd corner hairpin: don't countersteer, keep the steerinwheel straight and watch the magic, you won't be driving over the concrete anymore.
Go closer to the tyres and make a huge slide over the grass on the inner side. Get some practice in this, they key is to have as little steeringmovement as possible.

The corner after the green plate, don't countersteer, this makes the oversteer worse.
Keep the wheel straight as I said with the other corner, watch my replay you can see what I mean, kinda hard to explain...

I improved slightly but I still have a little oversteer round corners... Jos... do I keep the throttle down while cornering... cuz that seems to make it oversteer... the second I take the throttle off... I start to gain control coming out the corner

No power in the corners, you can do that if you have pedals, but with the mouse you fly into the walls. When you're about 80% out of the corner, get the wheel straight and give it power. Sometimes when you have a wide corner you can even floor it when you're halfway the corner, just make sure you floor it AFTER you've passed the centre of the corner.

Yes, when you're gonna spin, leave the throttle and don't throw the wheel from left to right, steer in the direction you wan't to go...

ok... I think what I've been doing wrong is giving throttle in the corner... thats what I've been doing for the GTi as well

Oh the GTi sucks most with the mouse, throttle + corner = sliding straight into the wall,
I also tap the throttle fast in a row, to simulate 50%power in the corner..
