i have a 1991 bmw 535i and am looking for some
mirrors for it....
if anyone in the uk or japan (those have been recomended to me)
can check thier local newstands for mags that advertise car parts
please let me know where i can start looking for parts...

basically i want stubby mirrors like these on my car :::

you mean the like Evo 8 FQ400 or M3 ones?... the E34 BMW is still very popular in malaysia, I can try looking in the mag to see what I can find

Those are the most extreme M3 style mirrors I've ever seen...

fugly and way too small


would look horrible on your 5 series
 
that type of mirrors will be SO UGLY on a '91 5.

besides the lights, everything on the car is square, don't put such mini design things on it. they look good on a VW polo or sth, but not on a big old car
 
now doesn't that look alot better than the super aerodynamic ones... and with the ones you wanted in the beginning, you're going to have a really big blindspot
