Well, the previous poll gave us 3 weekends with a clear preference over the rest. So these three dates will go on to
THE SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS ROUND TWOTWOTWOTWOTWO

The setup is slightly different this time, you can vote for your favourite weekend, and the winner takes all!

You will not win anything by voting in this poll, and the judges cannot be bribed with beer, boobs or booze (although we applaud any attempts to).

The poll has ended, and we have a date.

Get your calendars ready, because the Ringmeet will take place on
August 7th-9th 2015
During this weekend, the Oldtimer Grand Prix event is held at the N?rburgring.
Accomodation will be at the Viktoria Station campsite again, or one of the hotels?? nearby.

This year not one, but two roadtrips are being planned, both taking place right before the Ringmeet.

For those who want something other to do than standing around doing nothing, I've compiled a list of things to do nearby.

For those who are on Facebook, there's also an event created there, so you can easily add it to your calendar.

The planning for the weekend as it stands now is as follows:
Thursday
  • People arrive at campsite
  • People stand around
  • Get booze and other groceries
  • Eat dinner at the burgerplace down the road

Friday
  • More people arrive
  • Ice snores
  • Adrian sleeps in
  • Rodeling
  • OGP
  • Touristenfahrten
  • BBQ
  • Pubquiz
  • Gamescum

Saturday
  • Rhine Cruise
  • Bunker
  • OGP
  • Touristenfahrten
  • Triathlon
  • Restaurant dinner
  • Ringmeet awards

Sunday
  • OGP
  • Touristenfahrten
  • Bunker
  • People leave
  • Dinner at Vulkan Brauerei

Monday
  • People leave

OGP is still my favorite event, but voting truck GP for roadtrip reasons. :p

My vote depends on my colleagues' vacation plans... which I don't think they have made yet. :(

Can you not get in first and book yours?

I already have - two weeks vacation time between option 1 and 2.
Anyway, I'm optimistic about that. Both my colleagues going on vacation at the same time? I think not. Still, I'll talk to them before voting. :D

I really have no preference among the three, so... whatever's decided is fine by me.

I voted. I will in no way attempt the bribery mentioned in the first post.

Hmm... I have a corporate shutdown June 27 - July 5, so that weekend would technically be easiest for me, but I'm going to give it a bit more thinking before voting.

EDIT: Just looking at flights (I know its way too early). But man is flying out of DTW pricey. Its actually cheaper to book Jet Blue DTW<>BOS and then BOS<>FRA in economy premium than it is DTW<>FRA economy all the way.

Don't think, make things happen!

:D

Can't plan 2015 vacations during CY2014 here, so mute point discussing it with my boss :p

Oldtimer, definitely. I was gutted that I couldn't make it this year, but if it's the oldtimer then I'll seriously consider it.

I might be in a position to get a better press car, too!

I think I'd be able to come to any of these, as long as planned sufficiently soon enough :)

My preference would still be Oldtimer GP, but I'm ok with all.

If all goes to plan, we can set a definitive date at least before the end of the year, maybe even before christmas.

August is a bit late for the scandinavia roadtrip... and i don't care for any of the races

I don't mind either. Happy to go with the flow.

As I have no clue about what I'll be doing by the time of ringmeet, or where, or even what I'll be driving, I couldn't care less for a specific date as of right now.

As soon one was chosen, I'll go ahead and contact the campsite and likely the restaurant.

Also, of course I won't accept bribes like beer and crap. Money on the other hand, thats always welcome.

@Mike: I'd be happy to see another american at ringmeet, so please make it possible :)

@Blake: About time, this crappy pos you had last time was quite the embarrassment for finalgear at the campsite.
