RIP Sir Bobby, true football great its said he couldnt understand why some of the players he worked with would demand so high wages, he gave the impression he would have worked in football for free he loved the game that much. Legend.

I'm not a big fan of Football but even i know that he had great love for the sport and it easily showed. On top of that he managed the England team to greatness at the World Cups in 86 and 90. I always remember that Italia 90 semi final. RIP Sir Robson.

Sad news.
Last weekend there was a live charity football match shown on ITV called the Bobby Robson international.

England vs. Germany, Lotar Mathias was the German manager and it was players in their forties mainly but also included Gazza, Alan Shearar & David Platt.

Personally I prefer Rugby, but that's the point, if you say the name Bobby Robson to anyone they'll know he's a good man. For that level of renown, if nothing else, he deserves to RIP.
