I recently used a gift voucher to buy some of his books. Kitchen Confidential, and his Les Halles cookbook.
Kitchen Confidential just made me sad. He had a way with words, and such a large personality, and it's just gone now. There won't be any more No Reservations, or Layover, or Parts Unknown.. I'd have loved to see him to an episode with Maynard Keenan in Arizona.
