Sandwiches!!!

i have been makeing a gread sandwich for a few weeks now. Boars Head Mesquite Smoked Turkey with Jalapino Monterey Jack Cheese on italian style bread with basic Mayo and Mustard. very good
After a few weeks - would it not be a bit, er, stale?

The other day I made a bacon sandwich with Horseradish instead of ketchup. Best Thing Ever!

It was like discovering fire.

Hm, that sounds rather interesting. The only sandwich I ever get are usually BLTs, minus most of the lettuce. It is composed as such in my dreams:

a pound of bacon (if possible), 3 or 4 pieces of lettuce, and the rest tomatoes. XD (Tomatoes are also good in my book.)

thats whats great about it, every time i go to the deli i try to think of something better but i end up with the same thing. its just a great sandwich. almost everytime i have a flashback from The Office US when the comment was made about Jim eating the same Ham and Cheese sandwich everyday for lunch for years. i get it now, this one just works! lol so no, it hasnt got stale yet. its just a great sandwich.

Has anyone tried James May's recipe for a fish finger sandwich, recently shown on TV? lol

Two slices of Italian bread, the meat of your choice, provolone cheese, cole slaw, fries, and tomato.

They claim it was created for truck drivers to eat on the go, but I can't fathom how someone could eat that one handed. All the fries and slaw would fall out.

I'm lazy and lately i've enjoyed wrapping everything.
Theres no mess and one handed. :p

My two "comfort food" sandwiches:

1:
-Cheap crappy white bread Toast
-Mayo
-Bacos bacon-flavored bits
-Sliced red tomato

2:
-Cheap crappy white bread Toast
-Butter
-Fried egg, over easy, well cooked (okay...so over-cooked would probably me more accutrate, but...oh well)

Sounds awesome...

I made a grilled sandwich yesterday using Naan for the base....it was awesome! Fired up a griddle pan, threw done some water on said pan and tossed the naan on top of the water, added some cheese and meat, then KA-POW...lunch!

yeah, we have those here, they're about 25 or 50 cents sans meat :p

My favourite sandwich to make...

Take 4 rashers of bacon, fried in butter... not the streaky crap. <_<

That my friend... IS EPIC IN HANDHELD MUNCHY FORM.

And I really don't understand how anyone could NOT like what WE call bacon. I mean ours actually has meat on it unlike that streaky bacon shit which is in my world; 95% fat and 5% pink. No wonder Americans are so fucking huge. XD That Manwich in itself is probably a damn sight healthier than if a Yank made it. XD
