"Save target as" in firefox

Ive tried messing around endlessly with the options in firefox but can't seem to get this fuction working. Everytime i click a videoclip, for example, it decides to open that in a new window and starts streaming.

How do i enable this function?

Yep, then "Save Link As..."

I never tried save link as, because i thought it just saved the URL in favorites or something. I feel stupid.
