Well they are, they're saying the people can skin the animals for a living, but just kill them first. So they don't suffer as the knife is being plunged into their bodies and being dragged down, then having their skin peeled off of them like one would peel a banana. :x :cry:
 
yeah i understand that but would u rather let those people stave? i mean i would like it if the injected the animal 1st so it died, then skinn it, but then it would cost more wouldnt it?
 
I say no to the cruel treatment of animals, but there are more important issues to rectify. How about we make sure the children of the world have enough to eat before we worry about rich broads wearing fur?

That will never happen. It's bad too, global warming is too! But that doesn't mean we can't be worried about this?

@Jason: Yes I'd like to see these people starve! There are other ways of making money, if you have the "heart" to do this shit, you're not worthy of living IMO.

Who CAN you respect if you don't respect animal life?
 
fuck that living man.. thats a crime! drug dealing is a living too you know, but that doesn't make it good! oh think about the dealers!! they are men, they can work tons of other decent jobs but this... i mean am not against fur.. but shit skinning animals alive.. have u ever got ur nails peeled off.. it hurts trust me, imagine this its like X10000 worse!! i mean for example.. ppl take leather after they kill the animal.. to eat the meat and hey lets use the leather too.. but not this! man ppl put poison in machetes to fight, can't they put it in a needle to kill them fast so they won't feel the pain? how costy can it be, a needle can take a dozen of them.. :(
 
i'm not argee'in that what hes doing in right at all, in fact i think it sick too (i havent watched the whole thing yet but hearing from u guys it sounds disgusting) but they do it for a living and finding jobs in china is very hard. they are in out skirtted provinces so they cant help it.

Very true, blame those bitches who design clothes with fur! If they stop using it, people won't make money from it.

You could even blame people who wear fur.
 
I saw a documentary about furfarms, I think it was silverfoxes (that's what we call them in here anways), and they used electricity to kill the animals before they skinned them. One electrode in the mouth, and one in the rectum, so the fur wouldn't be burned.
When it comes to seals, the video were they bat babyseals to death is very controversial, and it's speculated that it's fabricated. The standard way is to use an icepick to the back of the head and into the brain, and the seal dies instantly. Beating it with a bat seems quite unnecessary, and I guess it involves a too high risk of damaging the fur.
 
Well, Im against killing animals for fur. I find it absolutely useless and cruel.
But then again I can understand Jason Chiu's point, that they have to do so for a living.

BUT, this video is the most gruesome one I have ever seen when it comes to animal abuse. Killing a Rackoon is one thing, but pulling his fur off while he is still alive!? Motherfuckers. At least let the poor animal die in a better way.

I agree with Josty, I think fur coates should be banned. They can make very nice synthetic ones.
 
after reading that they rip off the fur alive, i have to say to over the top.

i mean the people shouldnt be punished, but pherhaps told or taught how to give the least pain to the animal to bring it to its death.
 
I think their problem is that their afraid of spilling blood on the fur, they'll might
not be able to sell it. The government should force them to give them a small
lethal injection or something though, to prevent this horrbile shit from happening.
 
my point exactly. but then that leathal injection will cost too much for them ppl and will be even more differecult for them to breakeven

i;ve been able to post more this week coz my workload is less fortuatly. u can see i dont crazy post much coz my PPD is like 7. someone like andrewhui is 8-9 so there we go
 
if you hold an animal under wather for a longer time it dies as well, and the fur is neither damaged (might take a while with seals though :lol: )

Those poor people would sell the injections and still skin them alive..
 
^But that's a comparison you don't want to make, because there IS a way to treat animals better and prevent children from starvation. Money!
 
I'm just pointing out that where money goes has to be prioritized. For every dollar that is spent trying to reform the mistreatment of animals there is a dollar taken away from a cause that could be more important (ie. a child starving in Africa).
 
^Prioritized...Yeah..Economy first in most countries...Same with Kyoto...the biggest polutor (sp?) doesn't sign in...(USA) Economy first, so the factories can burn as many coals as they like to keep the money rolling. :thumbsdown:
