Scanner problem.

Okey sorry to stalk you guys with my problems, but I have been working on this Scanner for 3 hours (no XP driver available very easy) which I got for free from a friend because they thought it didn't work.

But I finally got it to work, it does scan, but the image is weird.

This is what I get when I scan a cd-cover.



I hope someone knows how I can solve this.

It seems like the scanner is f***** up. I'm no expert, though, and it may be a cheap repair, but probably not.

hmm that looks pretty fucked up, I don't think there is anything you can do except try to have some hardware guy repair it.... i.e. I don't think it's a software problem.

Yeah I think it has something to do with the drivers, original it didn't support XP (how smart, it's only 2 years old) and never had problems with programs not supporting XP.

If you scan text you can see some letters, but you can't read it..

Whats the model and make of the scanner?

Sometimes you only need to find the proper driver.

MEdion Lifetec LT 9385, I got the proper driver now. I think, was kinda hard to find an XP driver.
