Spoilers: Season 23 spoilers

Wow, yeah. He looks like Jeremy frickin' Corbyn now.

Well, at least nobody hurt them. If some British blokes would do some donuts in front of, say, the Alamo in Texas, they'd probably got shot :D
Ozzie osbourne pissed on the Alamo. He got banned from Texas.

Is it just me or has Evans aged A TON since they announced him as a host for Top Gear. He looks a decade older than he did a few months ago.
It has taken that idiotic ever present grin off his face too.

Statement regarding Top Gear filming

The BBC today released the following statement regarding Top Gear filming this weekend in London.
Top Gear has been on location around central London over the past few days. Ahead of filming, the production team worked closely with the Metropolitan Police Film Unit and the Special Events Unit of Westminster Council. This was a large-scale, complex shoot, prepared over a period of four months, which required numerous road closures, health and safety regulations to be in place, and also included full disclosure to local residents, including the Treasury and Foreign Office.

The Cenotaph was at no point intended to feature in the programme and therefore will not appear in the final film. However, we are acutely aware of how some of the images in the press look today via the angle and distance they were taken and for which, as Chris Evans has already said, we sincerely apologise.

The driver of the car was briefed by production prior to filming as to where to drive and to not do any manoeuvres close to the monument, an instruction to which he fully adhered.

We would like to make it absolutely clear that the Top Gear team has the utmost respect for the Cenotaph, what it stands for, and those heroic individuals whose memory it serves so fittingly.

What do we learn from this? New Top Gear is incredibly stressed and afraid of doing something wrong. So afraid in fact, that they resort to self-censorship.

It shines a light on how tense things must be behind closed doors.

Indeed, a good response to this silliness, which isn't helped by most of the media's action shots coming in through a telephoto lens which suggests the Mustang and the Cenotaph are sharing the same slab of pavement.

CE's immediate apology sends me a message that TGUK 2016 will not be suitable viewing for long-time TG fans.

They are two different bridges - Tower Bridge is the famous landmark one, London Bridge is the famous name bridge. They're driving over Tower Bridge. The original London Bridge is long gone, and it's replacement is actually now in Arizona. They're adjacent on The Thames, London being West of Tower.

Red tops won't let go:

That's a WRAP for the #TopGearLondonTakeover! Such a fun few days of filming here in London with my buddy @MLeblanc and the @TopGear crew pictured here. It's still absolutely mental thinking back on all the access we had to this awesome city. THANK YOU for killing it, Top Gear and thank you, city of London, for allowing us to have this incredible opportunity. Absolutely can't wait to see this piece when it goes live this May.

I don't know who Steve Allen is, but I thought his rant was funny. Lot of truth in it too I think.

He's a bit of an idiot as he keeps banging on about licence payers money, when everyone knows TG get most of their revenue outside of UK.

The Scum are still after blood:

BBC chief left clinging to her ?187,000-a-year job after Top Gear Cenotaph scandal continues to worsen

Its a bit of a diversion from the fact the Sun and their Tory mates probably did massive damage to veterans this week by slashing disability benefits.

Not sure if they're crap. If you ask me, we're witnessing the dawn of a realization that CHM weren't so bad after all... not only in the Yellow Press but also at the BBC.

What did Richard Porter write in his book? Something like the BBC never understood Top Gear and how it works and was made. Seems he was right.

And I can only agree that Evans' swift apology in front of the cameras seemed a bit like back-stabbing and blame shuffling.

They passengers are all musicians.

Sounds a little bit like the trip old TG did in Spain where each of them had a passenger.

"Do you actually do anything to your hair?"

"Well, I wash it."
