Series 2 on SBS

SBS are going to show series 11 starting on November 24th and follow straight on with series 12 from January 5th. They will finish showing the rest of series 2 after series 12 finishes in March 2009.
 
Since we're going to have to wait till March to see the rest of Season 2 Is it possible to make the so far aired episodes of Season 2 that aired on SBS available on the site?

Thats right. When SBS moved TopGear from friday afternoons (series 5) to prime time for series 6, they were two series behind BBC2. The series 9 premiere (Richard's crash) aired in January this year, 12 months after it aired in Britain. Since then, SBS has shown series 10 and now 11 and once they begin series 12 in about two weeks, the delay will have been cut to only 2 months.
 
Wow, so we have to wait forever to get these Season 2 SBS rips. :(
 
Yeah, does anyone know when the SBS rips of Series 2 will air and be up on the FTP's?

And does anyone know if they'll show Series 3 (current rips are missing the news!)?
 
The SBS rips will miss the News because they don't broadcast it here (it's the BBC World modified version which is a little different to the UK aired version). We had first ep of series 12 air on 5/1, so add 7 more weeks to that, so Early March would be the restart of series 2 (if that's what SBS does, assuming all 8 eps of s12 are shown, it goes back to finish the broadcast run of s02 etc etc etc).

Nice to know. Someone was kind enough to upload the aired episodes of season 1 and 2, but uploaded the wrong version of 2x02. It's the old BBC Prime with hard coded italian subs. :cry:
 
Viper007Bond wanted to get rips of all of series 2 to replace the terrible ones that are available now and make them into a single torrent.

But people seem to have forgotten.
 
The first five SBS rip episodes (700MB on ftp) (01-05) are not terrible.
But the BBC Prime rips.....

I hope not, ive been wanting to replace them for a long time. Really hope somebody did rip it.
