No "thanks for spoiling it for us" spoilers, just some highlights of what may be Episode 1:

After the Ashes Special's rhino scare, how fast can a Peel P50 be made to go?

Special guest for the episode is Hamish from 'Hamish & Andy' - but they actually had Andy from 'Hamish & Andy'. They either filmed Hamish at Tuesday's taping, or will do at an upcoming one. But all made possible due to amazing technology of television (Shane swapped shirts).

Renault Clio Sport vs Holden HSV Grange / agility vs power.

Unimpressed with Google's driverless Prii (Prius-esess), TGA try their hand at making a "real driver's" driverless car out of a Subaru Liberty wagon.

And adding to the "V8s make things better" theme, the Pilbara Brumby.

It seems 'pretzel' is out and the new comic theme is "Serious Shane attempts to do something aided by Naughty Steve and Naughty Ewen. Hilarity ensues."

The segments were pretty funny, however it reeks of scripted humour with 'actor' Shane playing a character, and I think it will grow old quickly. I can just imagine the director shouting at Shane, "Cut! Ok Shane, that was great, let's do it again but this time really look like you're thinking hard to come up with a solution. Okay people, let's go for take 7."

And thankfully there's no sign of Warne - perhaps he was preoccupied trying to get in a few wet laps in another classic British model ;)

And since Steve posted a pic of the Studio that unveiled some new cars, I shouldn't be spoiling anything by posting these:

No sign of a Flux Capacitor in there...

All up, it was a great night. Ewen said they might squeeze Series 3's missing Episode 4 content onto the end Series 4.

Again, it's easy to be hyper-critical when the shows air, but it's great to see the effort that goes in behind the scenes. Let's hope Nine don't go silly with scheduling and ad breaks.

Wasn't there for long tonight. Crowd seemed bigger, or perhaps the studio space is shrinking.

HSV Grange vs Jaguar XJ Supersport - which is the best hen's night limo.

Guests: AFL vs NRL - Shane Crawford vs Wendell Sailor.

Ewen, Shane and Steve, reckoning Australia lacks a decent "stunt car" movie, enroll in stunt school to make their own epic, "The Dorks of Hazzard".

Pics from TGA blog.

There was also a V8 Hills Hoist, and apparently a Peter Brock tribute.
