To me, it's just gotta be some great house music... especially with a song name like this one:

One of the best house producers of all time, imo, and some great female vocals. I'm not a convertible person, but give me this song, and a nice convertible on a country road, and I'd be in heaven.

It would be great to be able to use either Spotify or Last.fm's My Library on the run.

I've been trying to get this on drums; I think I'm getting carpal tunnel.

My Motor Burns by The V8 Wankers.
Sample: http://v8wankers.de/media/sounds/TheDemonTweak/11_My_Motor_Burns.mp3

I made a playlist for night driving some months ago:
Blaze of Glory - Bon Jovi
Sweet Sixteen - Billy Idol
I'm On Fire - Bruce Springsteen
More Than A Feeling - Boston
This Flight Tonight - Nazareth
Radar Love Golden - Earing
Rusty Cage - Johnny Cash
Magic Carpet Ride - Steppenwolf
Hell Bent - Brian Setzer
Barracuda - Heart
Move It On Over - George Thorogood & The Destroyers
Silver Machine - Hawkwind
Livin? On The Edge - Aerosmith
Truckdrivin' Son Of A Gun - The Waltons
My Motor Burns - V8 Wankers
Welcome to the Jungle - Guns N Roses
Kick Some Ass - Dukes

I know i got the taste of someone in Jezza's age ;)

Shine On You, Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd, any Floyd, actually, is great for empty motorways, too...
...and some emberassing Heavy Metal (Manowar, Maiden, Helloween, Priest you know, emberassing Metal) is great for left lane warfare...

I actually have grown fond of quieter music for driving, especially at night. You can't really go quickly in town anyway, might as well chill.

I know exactly what that's like. On rainy nights when I'm driving alone, I always tend to just do the speed limit and listen to some nice relaxing stuff, often instrumentals seem to do the trick.

Most of the times I'm driving it's stuck in traffic, so playing anything that makes me plant my foot is just frustrating, so the radio stays on for me.

This is awesome because it makes you drive very very fast, and makes you extremely mad at everyone else driving near you.

Typical Supra Turbo driver!

A song I've grown fond of lately (only version I could find on youtube..)

Amon Amarth (and Devildriver) is one of my favorite sources of driving music. But really I like anything 'fast'; I listen to a lot of Ventures and Dick Dale, for instance. It's not on YouTube (that I can find) but Gary Hoey did a metal version of "Pipeline" that is amazing.
