Seems to me we've picked up 20 or so members in the last week who have similar interests... :roll:

Not sure if that's Null's point, but irks me to see people spam the forum just to try get vids from Hookie :x

haha I was thinking the same thing... I say to hokie... Don't let anyone else join the FTP that you haven't actually had a convo with.

If the regulars here don't know the person just by looking at their name, they haven't contributed enough.
 
Hokie should just make them guidelines and Hokie gets the final decisions, if Hokie sees that this guy is just post-whoring and bumping old threads, then he shouldn't give him an account.... I just realized I didn't have an account as well, just PMed hokie :lol:
 
ppl like Null should just be prohibited access to the FTP :ban?: . I dont want ppl like him stealing bandwidth off the FTP that I and many others enjoy using...
This deal with Hokie's FTP is becoming a real problem for us regular posters. There is soo much extra traffic (pointless posts) that are just flooding our threads :spamsign: .
If all they want is access to the FTP, they better look elsewhere cos I dont think they will get accounts from Hokie with a stream of useless posts :x

Yeah. There are so many new ppl here trying to get acces to the FTP. Everyone of you has surely noticed this flood of "Hi, I'm new here" topics... And there are also many new topics like "Hi I need these episodes but I can't get acces to the FTP...". :x Rather annoying. But of course I understand these guys. Top Gear and Fifth Gear are marvellous shows, that's why they are so desirable.

This site, even if access to the FTP is forbidden, isn't like JW's, since the FTP isn't Viper's. And hokiethang can make the rules as he want. I guess some kind of action is necessary. I'm not trying to keep others from obtaining the videos (if I was new here, I wouldn't like it :) ), I'm just saying that the FTP shouldn't be the main reason for joining the community. (That's getting larger and more difficult to keep track each day).
 
Ya man. i joined the site about two weeks ago and didn't even know there was an ftp. I found most of the arguements interesting so i joined the club.

i downloaded episodes by looking allaround and finding different sources from the net.

I think there should be more ftps...
