This is Skoda's centenary, so here we bring you one of the richest and most diverse stories in motoring history. Bet you didn't know they made tractors and race cars. Really, no joke.

Some crazy cars were produced under Socialist governments. The DDR made the Melkus RS 1000, based on a Wartburg 353. 101 cars were produced.

well ?koda has a quite a good racing heritage... sadly they had not many opportunities to succeed, because communitst killed most of their efforts..
