Some crazy cars were produced under Socialist governments. The DDR made the Melkus RS 1000, based on a Wartburg 353. 101 cars were produced.

Happy 100th to Skoda. I've always loved Skodas. It's because my father worked at a point in the Skoda factory in Mlada Boleslav. I think sometime in mid 70s.

My brother used to have a 'Rally Red' Skoda Felicia. Loved that car.

well ?koda has a quite a good racing heritage... sadly they had not many opportunities to succeed, because communitst killed most of their efforts..
