i think it looks pretty cool. some people thing the engine might be super turbo charged. like low end powered by a super charger and high end by a turbo.

here are some scans

some people thing their testing the new gtr bits. i think they jsut makin a sports version of the current v35

btw... its not gna be called the Skyline GTR anymore... its just gna be called Nissan GTR... the skyline will now be a luxury sedan.

I'm sorry, but I hate the looks.
I still like the way the R34 looks the best.

yea... the skylines like the rest of the cars(e.g. new impreza) are getting too futuristic too fast

erm no... I'll see if I can dig it up tmr... off to bed now... btw that car kinda looks like a mini cayenne cuz of the headlights

dont u guys argee the 1st GTR (black) i posted is really nice? i would buy it. i was worried bout the supercars.net one. didnt like it at all. but i have confidence in this one.

btw dont u guys think it b cool for them to make the GTR a V6 3.6liter twin turbo?

i saw pictures of them having a 3.3 liter V6 which is probz what they gonna make it out of ithink,

but 3.6 liter will be cool. they only need to bore .1 liter out of the Z engine and twin turbo it!. plus it be so cool knowin that the new generation has a 1 liter bigger engine

well they already use a 3.5L tt in JGTC so i am sure if they really wanted to they could make a 3.6L as for the looks your right the the top one you posted looks the best i still think it lacks the purposeful design that i expect from a GT-R but hey if ppl want curvey give them curvey

TF
a big fan of fast boxy cars

Sorry, it looks hideous!

The first and the second picture are nice. Actually, they could use the second one now as a step up, and then go with the first one when they get to R36 or something. It still has those sharp edges which make the Skyline as aggressive and as godlike as it has become, yet still maintaining that modern roundness which seems to be the thing to do these days.

i never liked any gtr.. they look like fancy accords with a spoiler and a phat engine..
but those concepts are interesting, nothing beautiful.. interesting though ;)

I seriously doubt it will be superturbo charged though.
The weight and complexity of the system would far outweight any gains from it.
A properly tuned ~3.5L Bi-turbo (Bi right? not twins) should make an easy ~350hp will still have acceptable torque downlow.

Suppose the last superturbo car was also a nissan. But they never made any new ones ... so.

And I gonna miss the old skyline gtr looks though. The ... you know, sedan with 2 door look of it.

supercharged + turbo = called twincharged
2 turbo = twin turbo or bi-turbo

anyway..

I dont like any of those, it's like they raided the Lexus design closet and picked a few sketches out of the dark. Jeremy was right when he said the japs cant design worth crap sometimes  Compare this to the NSX or the older skylines. Ugh!

i used to think skylines were beautiful, but im so sick of em right now...

i remember the 1st time i ever saw one... it was a four door back in england. it was the only one ive seen, and the sound was amazing. as it drove past, the ground shook :)

since i moved to australia, i see skylines everywhere. im finding them boring. however i havent seen the four door version here as of yet (still my fave of the bunch)
