Well, you can drive straight (no de-tours that is) for a day in Sweden and still be in Sweden, and uh, Sweden is close to Sweden, so yeah, by that logic, France IS close to Slovenia.
Just don't use Russia or the U.S with this logic, then everything is close to everything
