Snail Mail Distribution....

Hey

I have an idea, how about swapping vids by burning them to disc and using good old snail mail to distribute them around the world?

I have PO Box ,stamps and envelopes, and discs are cheap in OZ.

:lol: we could probably burn more vids to disc and distribute quicker via snail mail.

We post up our list of vids and then see who wants what and you can make an exchage. I think there are a few posts here in this forum somewhere of people's vast collections.

I bet you, you could distribute more files and quicker this way than most people can via their internent connections.

Not all of us are fortunate enough to have broadband....or you could have my version of unlimited broadband here which is capped at 12g per month then my isp slows my connection down to 28.8

so much for unlimited!

I understand this is a trust factor but hey it could work!

any suggestions?

I think it's been suggested before, and it didn't fly. Sorry to rain on your parade, but I'm not too interested either. I'm perfectly happy with the system we (Viper, that is) has going now.

I am addicted now after downloading small clips and living in Australia.

I would prefer the full versions and I would like to start with series 1 in 2002

I am on cable/broadband....don;t know the speed though?!?!

however we have this silly account they call unlimited but I only get 12g of d/load per month and if I go over

(can anyone tell me if they know how to bypass cable caps or someway of telling my isp I have really only downloaded a gig when I really haven't :lol: I wish!)

I try and get shows before we get them here in OZ

So every month I have to plan my d/loads of which series and shows I get.

I am a big fan of overnet but, you've enlightened me to BitTorrent, so thanks for that

But now I AM ADDICTED TO TOP GEAR!!!!!!!!

and being as anal as I am I become obsessed with things and full Top Gear shows is one of them

So any chance of the full 2002 series would be great 8)

Do you have a mailbox? Snail mail is the ordinary, sending-letters-in-envelope style mail.
