How could that be so hard? Where do you put the key then?

Up the exhaust pipe

I mean, what's the deal with turning the side mirror to open the door? :?

haz

apparently its because with no door handle the car a)looks better and b) is more aerodynamic

i think hey were talking about opening the door form the inside, starting the car is like any other

i think

no, the task was to start the engine ... then opening the door from inside ..

There is no door handle on the inside either... I got stuck inside a T350c at the autoshow in NEC. a staff member had to let me out :D

Apparently there's a button next to the radio that opens the door. Don't know about the starting, maybe there's a "launch" sequence you have to go through. (like in the GT, as JC mentioned in his article)

Dunno how it is in the Tuscan, never been inside one... The t350c has a different interior, and the door opening button is "silver" with no marks on it (at lest in the car I was in)

You don't turn the side mirror, you press a button under the mirror.

I don't know where the key goes, that's what those people were looking.
To open the door from the inside, you turn that bigger wheel on the dash to the side of the door.

As I posted here and it's explained here.

IS it that black button near the yellow wire? Right to the radio? To open the door.

"Yellow Wire"???
Exposed wiring is very in vogue??? ;)

What's up with English sports cars?
Even the Lotus Esprit has strange things like the hand brake and opening the rear bonnet.

Don't ever try to open the fuel cap on a S2000 without reading the manual... :?

^^
these are things I love about cars like this... they are fun, and these little things are not that hard to figure out if you're willing to read instructions.

totally off topic but, does anyone else think the new TVRs with the inline 6s have more in common with the Jaguar E Type than any of Jaguars offerings from the XJS onwards? like in terms of shape and drivetrain... :?

I actually think the Tuscan has the appearance of a "modern E-type" They both have the same ingredients; A sleek beautiful body, a powerful NA straight six, rwd, and a rather reasonable pricetag.
