(pics are to big to post directly, unless someone knows a way to give up max size?)

Yeah it looks bad but what is it?

euh, a caravan, i taught that would be pretty obvious :?

For heaven's sake resize  I can only see a third of the pic at a time.
But from what I can see it doesn't look good :(

Edit: thanks, I was a bit slow :)

use xnview, it can batch resize nicely and is freeware...

isn't there a way to include it in your img tags?

^^?? Dunno what you mean. Resizing via an IMG tag done by the forum?
Don't think so...

^sth like that

they didn't hear or feel anything, but truckers were making signs that there was sth with the wheel

Looks like a tire blew-out to me. :(

Under inflation could be the cause. Heat builds up, pressure increases and then it blows, shredding the caravan's wheelwell and the inside along with it.

But if they didn't hear anything... Could be as simple as a puncture. Pressure drops and if you don't pay attention to the changes in handling (easy to miss on a double axle trailer, especially on the highway ), tire shreds after rolling on it without much any air into it and takes out the wheelwell along with the pieces of thread of the tire.

Caravan are built super light nowadays and therefore have a hard time resisting to something like that.

'Been camping my whole life and never saw anything like that before though.
