Hmm ... the car show is from Shanghai, so I'd guess they are chinese girls.
None of them will be Japanese because of the recent anti-Jap mentality over there, having jap models there will be asking for trouble. Don't think they will bother "importing" taiwanese chicks to Shanghai carshow.

Didn't China have a miss plastic surgery pageant recently? Sometimes I think that the Chinese are even more different from the west than the japanese are.

And the anti japanese mentality isn't new and isn't china specific. It's been seething underneath ever since the brutality of Japanese occupation have never been addressed.
