Very nice and very hot day out in the city for some good photography. I have a ton, but I'll go with these for now. Hope you like them.

Nope, all straight out of the camera other than resizing them for the web.

It was a cool shot though of the Space Needle reflecting off the telescope lens.

nice pictures viggen. i just got a s5100 (its called s5500 in europe) myself yesterday. :D
went to the airport today to try it out...

airplanes meet, with the feldberg summit in the background (the three towers, great place for mountainbiking).

Love that plane landing shot. Must've zoomed-in really far to get that close.

I went up there once and there's no way I'm gonna do it again!
The ascent takes forever and it's quite steep in some places. The way back down was a blast tho! :)

Where exactly do you live ryosuke?

thanks, i like the 10x zoom of the s5100/s5500. ;)

my batteries went flat very soon on my first visit, because i thought they came fully loaded...so i went there again and got even better approach pictures.

you can go pretty close to the runway there and they go right over your head. the following is without any zoom...so it appears a lot smaller than in reality. i still have to get a frontal shot of one of the really large ones...

frankfurt h?chst.
if the weather wasn't that horrible this year and my mountainbike working i would be up there about once a week. ;)
the ascent takes some time (1h30m from h?chst to the summit was my best time ever, but usually it takes me about 2h), but its healthy and the downhill via the trails really makes up for it.
you can also take the train to k?nigstein, then its only 5 km to the top. and with the shape i am in at the moment, i have taken the train the last few times. ;)

1h30min, that's pretty quick!
We drove up there from Idstein (that's where I live, maybe you've heard of it) and it took at least (!) twice as long. In addition to that, Idstein is 12 kilometers closer to the Feldberg than Frankfurt-H?chst. But we have more mountains on the way I suppose. ;)

As I said before, I'm not gonna go up there again. It was way too exhausting... I prefer jogging over biking anyway. :D
