Hi,

years ago, Jeremy Tiff and Vicky were "the team" of Top Gear.
But suddenly Jeremy was gone and only Tiff and Vicky were left.
Than, also suddenly, Jeremy was back, but the two others were gone.

I newer could really get the why when who did what...

Can anyone say what happened during that time?

Thank you!

Tiff & Vick went to channel Five and made 5th. Gear, JC continued Top Gear with Richard Hammond and Jason Dorr (sp?) ((aka. the fat guy)) in 2002.
Then the new format in 2002 futured Jason Dorrs successor; James May, for 2003.

The End ...................................................................................................

That's why I added the (sp?) ......

JC pronounced his name, and it sounded like Dorr ..

He had such a smarmy, patronizing manner.

I can't believe this thread got so far without the follically challenged Quentin being mentioned. I think he's great, I love his caddish voice. Edit: Question, I always forget the bloke's name, on old Top Gear who was the total northerner that did the bikes had a particular way of saying 'Aprilia' that made me giggle (not that anyone on the boards would have known he made be giggle). What was his name?

Ooooh Steve Berry! I quite liked him ;) He's still kicking about somewhere, I heard him ranting about the congestion charge on the radio a while back. Shame they don't do bikes anymore

Ta Moo, I knew you'd know the answer  *copy/pastes name into Word for future reference* I thought it was Steve "something".

I agree, it's a shame they don't do the odd piece about bikes.

Well,

mainly I'm interested in the reasons why they left.
AFAIK
First JC quite and came back a year later than Tiff and Vicky quit and went to Channel 5.
