Somethings gone wrong with my PC

First it started crashing when I played music and movies, for a while (two or three months) everything was normal. And now yesterday turned on music and it crashes. Reinstalled the windows and again it crashes.

Please help i'm dying without music.
 
um, more detail would be nice. What version of Windows? What error are you getting? What music player are you using when it crashes.
 
xp home edition , there isn't any error everything just stops, doesn't matter, winamp, windows mediaplayer, even youtube.
 
I'm thinking there's an issue with the sound card. Try reinstalling the drivers for it (and get the latest drivers as well)
 
Test your memory as well... Get Hirens Boot CD, burn it and run all the tests for your components.
Still, sound card seems most likely... On board?
 
Is it a freeze or does the PC shut down completely?
 
As Lurker said, make sure you have the latest sound driver too.
