I've just watched the race again and saw JC taking the "Spunk" pills, and I was wondering what they're like.

Does anyone know where you can buy them from?

A search on google for "spunk" obvioulsy comes up with all kinds things :p

"Some say that she is obsessed with getting a BMW M5, all we know is, she?s called Top Gear Girl."
I just quoted your sig, in case you change it again soon... (likley to happen...)

Anyway, your sig cracks me up, but I don't have the slightest clue about Spunk...

I haven't had the slightest clue about the english meaning of spunk until I've read the threads where everyone was cracking up about it. You guys have changed the way I look at them forever.

Spunk is a made-up word created by Astrid Lindgren in her famous children's book Pippi Longstocking. Pippi makes up the word one morning and then spends the rest of the day with her friends trying to find out what a "spunk" is. Of course nobody they ask knows, and so they don't find out.

20 years after Pippi made up the word, Galle & Jessen needed a new name for a candy, and took that name.
You can also get them with fruit and cola taste.

The one Jeremy eats is a salty licorice, that I have only found in Denmark (or danish shops) I think you have to be danish to enjoy it, an acuired taste.

Ohhhh, I almost forgot, you can also get spunk as a vodka drink, aswell as some other candy, but some stupid people are trying to get them banned because they say that it encourage kids to drink

Encouraging kids to drink spunk... interesting, yet disgusting concept ;) ;)

I know it's childish, but this has to be the funniest thread in a while, I can't help sniggering whenever I click on the 'Spunk' thread.

Maybe I should grow up - I am 30 on Friday after all (eek!)

Those crazy Danes... :p

My reference to adults consuming spunk - don't mind that, my mind was in the gutter temporarily... (some would argue it's always there...)

So wait exactly what does "Spunk" do?

It's a stimulant I think - like Red Bull (note I'm just guessing based on why JC was having it. And I'm not about to go googling for 'spunk'...)

We're being smart arses... talking about the Aussie/Pom version of spunk, which is something much more adult related than the licorice spunk that comes in a box
