Spy- New Seat Leon Cupra

Testing in north Scandinavia was going on this week for the new Seat Leon Curpa. The Cupra uses the 2.0 FSI Turbo 4cl engine seen in the VW Golf GTI, Audi A3 and the new Skoda vRS, its said to produce 220bhp, 20 more than its VW Group counterparts.

Seems like a lot of designers are doing the Mini Cooper S centre exhaust. (New R32, Jeep SRT-8, etc.) But I definitly like the car itself...Where's the rear door handle?

I agree with you, they should change that. Otherwise it looks great!

Not exactly. On the Civic it's like on the Alfa 156, there's a handle sort of hidden in the window frame.

On the the Leon there's this "bulge" in the glass panel. Much more sophisticated than just a flush handle in the window frame.

and are u sure it's a 5 door? i think it's a 3 door, and the edge of the rear supposed to be door is (i think) a reflection of a pole at the side of the road

Agree with bone on this one. The front looks like someone dropped a giant ball that rolled a bit on the bonnet, then bounced of it again. And that centered rear exhaust belongs on a motorcycle, not on a car. But the vents on the back looks kinda nice though..

I simply cannot get myself to like those weird-ass air scoops. The Leon Prototype looked much much better.

yeah and if that was a 3-door, the front doors would be a lot longer. They look way too stubby to be the only doors and have that much car behind them.

Yeah, looks a lot like the Altea. But I must say this Cupra looks better than I thought it would. Don't like the rear, though. The scoops look weird, and the central exhaust doesn't look good on the Leon.

Is a shame they destroy the sportiveness of the design... i HOPE THEY DONT Ruin the IBIZA too!
