XKR Cabiolet: Jaguar has already confirmed that the XK Cabriolet will go into production next year: here's a hot version, the supercharged XKR.
Engine: Like the coupe R, it'll have the 4.2-litre Jaguar V8 blown for a maximum output of around 400bhp.
Performance: Given the light weight of the new-generation XK, 0-60mph acceleration could well come in at, or even under, the five-second mark.
Handling: The Handling Package - stiffer suspension, modified ESP/ABS/traction control - optional on normally-aspirated XKS will be standard-fit.
More Performance: If this isn't fast enough for you, then don't fear; Jaguar is preparing a hotter version yet, designed to step into SL55 AMG territory and even take on some of the Italian exotics. This is thought to produce over 450bhp, perhaps even 500bhp, and go under the title of XKR-R
